Trying to navigate with no connection

Today was the day I finally moved my stuff from Toyohashi to Tokyo. I had my car back in Toyohashi and I had to drive it to Tokyo. It was almost a 300km drive and I had no idea what directions I needed to take. So, google maps would be highly important.
Out of all the days, my phone company decided to choose today to stop providing service. Ever since last night, it was having connection issues and today morning I realized I can’t make calls and I can’t connect to the internet. The very day where I need these two services the most, they don’t work. I then get to know that the whole companies service is done everywhere. I panic. I don’t know what to do. But luckily I have a pocket wifi with me.
I get a sense of relief and decide to use the pocket wifi. But guess what? It also started to have connection issues. Luckily my phone connected for a split second and I could use google maps to navigate to the location. Throughout the drive my connection was on and off. I also couldn’t make any essential calls.
The lesson from this day is that you can’t plan for all disasters. I planned my day today and I kept buffer time for everything. I knew things would go wrong so I planned for them. But I never expected my phone company to have service issues, something that never happened before.
Anyways, after all that drama I did manage to get my stuff to Tokyo. Expect more Tokyo blogs!
