The Trap of Black Friday-thoughts from a Minimalist.

Black Friday. Very exciting for anyone who loves shopping. But being a minimalist black Friday never meant much. It was just another day. Unless one of my essential items were on sale. But in general, I stay away from it.
The thing that Black Friday does is influence you to want things that you probably didn’t need. Just because the thing is on a discount doesn’t mean you have to get it. But then again there might be a different way to look at it. You might have been waiting for one of your favorite items to be on sale. You wait and you wait and then finally on black Friday you get it. But most people just buy things on a whim. Or maybe that’s me making assumptions.
The point I am trying to make is that black Friday might not be the best time to make a purchase decision. You might just give in to temptations and get things that you actually never needed. If you actually needed something no need to wait for the discount.
