Last month of the year-31 more blogs to go

Nov 30th. The last month of the year starts tomorrow. 2022 has felt longer than usual. One of the reasons it felt long to me has been this daily blog challenge.
Writing a daily blog hasn’t been easy. The first half of the year was better. I was writing regularly. I came up with topics far more easily. But after 200+ blogs it’s difficult to find new topics.
I tried new ways to come up with topics. But the thing I struggled with was writing every single day. Somedays my schedule didn’t allow me to sit down with a clear head and write. During the first half of the year, I hardly missed days. But in the second half, I used to just write the titles and wrote the whole blog later.
Reflecting back on the challenge I can say that it definitely impacted the pace at which I can put words on my mind onto the screen. It took me far longer to come up with paragraphs before. But now I can start writing as long as I have a topic. It may not be the best quality but it’s getting there.
Quality will be the focus of next year. I definitely don’t want to write a blog every single day. One reason might be that I journal every day. I have been doing that since 2020. Adding the extra work of writing a blog after writing my journal wasn’t easy. For the next year, I will probably write weekly blogs. Write when I feel like writing. I don’t want to feel pressured to write. I will let things flow.
