Getting a Furbo but for cats

One of my colleagues was giving away her Furbo. If you don’t know what a Furbo is, don’t worry. I didn’t know either. It is basically a pet camera. But specifically a camera for dogs.
My colleague didn’t have any use for it. So I wanted to get it for my cats. After I leave for work the cats are usually at home by themselves. So I wanted to see what they do all day long. It was a nice way to monitor them while I was away.
The Furbo is a really simple device. It is paired with an app on your phone. You can easily set it up in a few minutes. After setup it’s just about placing it in the right place. You can also put snacks inside it and feed your pets remotely. It is meant for dogs, but you can use it with cats.
The first day the Furbo was in the room, the cats pushed it over. Instead of being able to see them I was seeing their carpet. But slowly they got used to it being in the room.
The best part of Furbo is the unique moments it captures throughout the day. It records small snippets of the day. It captures when they are moving, chewing or even in front of the camera taking a selfie. The app is easy to use. You can also speak to your pet remotely through the microphone.
Overall it has been a great experience having the Furbo. It helps me monitor the cats throughout my day. Although the daily 60s highlight of the entire day shows that they sleep most of the day. Nothing much to monitor.
