Can risks be calculated?

If you want progress in life, you have to take risks. But you should be mindful about when and how you take risks.

I am not sure if you can call it a risk if it is calculated. Is it still called a risk? Well by the literal definition, as long as there's a chance of danger, it should be a risk regardless of how calculated you are. So whenever you take risks make sure you plan for the negative outcome. Don’t go all out knowing that it will destroy you.

Living in Japan I regularly converse with a lot of Japanese people who are risk averse. You will understand if you ever study or work here. Specially the older generation, they don't want to take any risk. But the young generation are adapting well and actually taking risk. Things change with time just like any other country.

So if you are planning to take a risk make sure you plan well. Never jump in without planning well.

This and the last blog hasn’t been good. I know. I am writing this on my phone on the bus. I am kind of in a busy phase, but hopefully I can write better in the future.
