Let’s go to Vlog 36! I am not sure if we can reach 50 this year, but let’s see.
This vlog starts off in the usual pattern. Then we have our close-up shot.
In today’s shot he talks about the difference between copying and taking inspiration. In the online world, you will always see copycats. People ripping off others’ styles. It’s okay to take inspiration. Casey himself takes a lot from Hollywood directors. But just completely copying someone else’s style is the worst thing you can do for yourself and others. He shares a lot more. This is probably one of the longest close-up shots. He shares that he is talking about this one of frustration.
He then goes for his run. For this run, he takes a lot of shots. It’s never easy taking shots during a run. You have to put a lot of breaks in your run. But he still pulls it off. He then meets his friend Karlie. A few shots from his day. He also gets his watch fixed. That part was interesting.
The vlog ends. He still has not found his flow. I forgot on what vlog he changes his style. But somewhere along the line, he figures out something different that makes his vlogs stand out.
