Casey Neistat Vlog 021

An active Saturday means a chance to go back to a Casey vlog. It’s number 20!!
The vlog starts off as usual. Cold open shot from the city. Then a timelapse. This one was a beautiful sunrise over the city. Great shot!!
It’s Tuesday on the vlog. So he does a vlog shot and then Q/A intro.
I remember watching this vlog before. The first question he has is about freedom. He gives a great answer, watch the vlog to know what he said. He also answers the question about the secret to happiness. He says that it’s about finding something you love and doing that for the rest of your life. He answers a few more questions but a good one for content creators is the one about getting better at filmmaking. If you are doing what everyone else is doing then you are doing it wrong. Interesting to hear this now seeing how everyone is doing what’s trending.
He cuts the Q/A. There’s a protest outside. He documents a bit of it. Then he goes to the train station. Meets a friend. Does vlog-style shots. He puts a nice montage at the end of the vlog about his train ride. Then finally ends with the vlog shot.
One thing to learn again here is how he kept the story going. Inspite of not having a lot going on during the day, he made it interesting. Need to learn!
