When you get lost while running

That title isn’t what you think it is. I am not talking about losing my way while running. I am talking about getting lost in your head while you have a great run.
I have talked about the state of flow before. But I wanted to talk about it again.
Today while running I got lost in the state of flow again. It was a run after a great day at work. I was full of energy and positive vibes. I had my headphones and I was listening to music. But mid run I don’t know when I paused the music.
Then when the run ended I realized I had no music. I was in the zone and got lost in my thoughts. It’s a great feeling and it’s hard to explain. But that’s one of the best feelings you can get.
You get this same feeling in other activities too. Think about moments when you don’t realize how fast time has passed. It’s hard to replicate those moments. When it comes to running, you can get this regularly. As long as you are consistent and keep on running. Get ready to get lost.
