Waking up at 4am for Manchester United
Manchester United probably had the worst start to the Premier League this season. Ten Haag had the worst start to his Premier League career. Everything was negative about the first 2 games.
On top of that our next game was Liverpool. Our bitter rivals have had the better decade and destroyed us last season.
All signs pointed to a negative result. The game was at 4 am. I don’t usually miss games. But this was a game then was easily predictable. I was tempted to just skip it.
But as usual, I didn’t. Even though I had work today, I set my alarm and went to bed.
It’s 4 am.
Time to wake up.
No matter how the first 2 games went. This is against Liverpool. Doesn’t matter what happened. You have to turn up for this game.
That’s what the players did. That’s what the manager did. That’s what the fans did. It was a solid game overall. Being able to register a 2-1 victory was not on the cars. As I said, all signs pointed to a negative result.
But the team came out strong. The players played more like a team. They put in the hard work. Time for me to go and have a happy morning run.
