The importance of good sleep

For the last few days, I have been playing catch-up. I moved into my own place last weekend. Due to that move, I couldn’t sleep much. So this whole week I have been playing catch up.
It’s not easy to play catch up. On one hand you want to get that extra bit of sleep on the other hand you want to get through your day. You have to make a decision and my decision was to push through and give my best at work.
It wouldn’t have been the best decision for everyone but it did work for me. I had a great week at work and managed to do a lot of work. But it wasn’t smooth sailing. When you take one decision you are not taking a bunch of others. While I prioritize my running usually, this week has been tough. I haven’t been able to go on proper runs because I have to clean up the house and I am usually sleepy but by the time I am back home. I am always playing the catch up game.
Finally yesterday I had the time to do a proper catch up on my sleep but it didn’t help recover completely. Finally tonight I will have a sound sleep and hopefully I can regain my stamina.
