This started earlier this year. Musk is probably one of the few people in the world who can casually talk about buying a billion-dollar company and actually buy it.
What happens next? It’s hard to predict. It is certainly not a great time to be a Twitter employee. He has talked about the layoffs. A lot of people will definitely lose money. He is also trying to change a lot of things about Twitter. He has lots of ideas and he might execute most of them.
What about Twitter users? He has already talked about charging eight dollars a month for Twitter blue. He also talked about extra features with twitter blue. But the biggest thing was getting verified if you subscribed. That would be a huge shift in how the blue tick mark is perceived.
