My love for a Sunny day

Summer is almost here in Japan. That means there will be a string of sunny days coming up. I know a lot of people hate summer in Japan, especially because it’s so hot and humid. I don’t blame them. But for me, sunny days are something special.
I don’t know why but sunny days increase my stamina tenfold. I am always up for a sunny day. It’s both a mental and physical thing. Sunlight is great for our body as long as you know your limits. But it’s also great for the mind. As soon as there is light, your brain knows that the day has started. The more continuous light you have, the more switched on your brain is. That is why naturally on a gloomy day we feel lazy. Before I go on, this is purely based on my experience, nothing scientific.
A sunny day also gives me an opportunity to target more activities. Whether it’s running, hiking, or camping. If it’s sunny there’s a lot more that I can do. You can take advantage of the sunlight in various ways. Back in the day before electricity, the sunlight was the only light for humans to get their work done. Now although we have artificial lights, sunlight is still the best time to get work done.
I wish you enjoy a sunny day as much as I do. Oh, I forgot to mention, a sunny day with a variety of clouds is just perfect. Today’s cloud was Altocumulus and it was a sight to see.
