I miss listening to podcasts

Today I was having a conversation with a colleague at work. We were talking about books. Then we moved on to podcasts. I was sharing a bit about my favorite podcasts when I realized I haven’t listened to podcasts much this year.
I used to love listening to podcasts. I was always listening to something. Back when I was living in Toyohashi, I had to drive to work. Throughout my drive, I used to listen to podcasts. I used to listen to podcasts while cooking, cleaning, or running. I kept on listening.
But after I moved to Tokyo my commute and daily routine changed. I couldn’t find the bandwidth to include podcasts in my routine. My travel time to and from work is less than two hours. The train is so packed that I don’t feel like concentrating on a podcast. I am just thinking about getting off the train. I also don’t cook every day like before. The only time nowadays I get the chance to listen to podcasts is on my runs. But sometimes I just prefer music.
All these have led to the decline of my listening to podcasts. I do want to start listening again. I enjoyed them a lot and learned a lot from different kinds of podcasts. I need to find a new way to add podcasts to my daily life.
