This blog was supposed to be something else. I had a bunch of topics in my mind but then I remembered this weekend is my first camp of the year!!!!
I started camping last year. I am still a novice. But I can’t begin to tell you how much I love camping. I never got to experience camping growing up because its an activity that is not common in Bangladesh. Living in the capital city you also don’t get enough chances to camp anywhere. But being a nature lover this was one activity I had to get into.
After coming to Japan I should have started camping earlier. But I never found anyone around me who had a similar interest. Because I hadn’t camped before I needed someone to help me get started. I did have one friend but we never ended up talking about this interest of hours.
Anyways, last year after I moved to Toyohashi and started a new job I found a colleague who loved camping too. He had a lot of experience and we decided to start camping. We found the best camp spot in Japan. I am not just saying it. It is truly the best. Here’s a video from my first camp

It is one of the most popular spots in Japan and it’s almost completely booked every single month. I loved this location so much that I ended up going there 2 more times. But after that winter started and I couldn’t go back.
Finally the cold days are over and I can go back to camping again. This weekend I am going on a beach camp. I can’t wait to be out there in nature and just live. You don’t need much to enjoy a camp. Just being there, smelling the fresh air, listening to nature, so many emotions. I can’t wait.
