How do you make a decision?

Today has been a pretty stressful day. I had to make some decisions. Decisions that weren’t easy. It made me think about the process of making a decision.
Some decisions are easy. The obvious choice is in front of you. There’s no alternative, so you can go forward with your decision.
But there are some decisions where you need to choose between a few options. When you have many options you have more problems. Moreover, if you make multiple decisions in a day, you might suffer from decision fatigue. Every day we make multiple small decisions that stress us out bit by bit.
In case of those decisions, you can approach them in many different ways. One way is going with your gut feeling. This doesn’t always work but some people have a knack for it. If things are going in your favor, go with your gut. I sometimes struggle to go with my intuitions, but they do pay off when I do.
Another way is making pros and cons. If you have multiple choices pros and cons evaluation might help you find a logical answer. This helps when you can compare the options. You can clearly find out which works for you the best.
But sometimes whatever decision you take, you can never satisfy the other side of your brain. Your brain is in limbo. I wonder what’s the best course in those cases.
