They were one of the dark horses, but Argentina would be too strong for them. The game was going as expected. Argentina is up by two goals. But then things suddenly changed when Weghorst came on and the Netherlands changed its strategy. They started to play long balls. Simple football. But Argentina couldn’t deal with it. The game ultimately went to penalties. Was it set for another upset? Luckily for Argentina fans, it wasn’t. Messi and his men march on.
