Back with another Casey Vlog. It’s number 20. Let’s go.
He starts off again with his usual cold open. A shot about a shop in the city. Then his usual timelapse intro. This was a beautiful one. A night-to-day timelapse.
After that, we had the close-up shot. He talks about his son’s 17th birthday. He then has a random shot of his daughter. After that, he transitions to a shot outside but one thing I noticed is how he used the J-Cut here. You could hear the audio come first before the next shot. The next shot is of him going to the office, opening some letters and then making coffee.
He then talks about going out to meet his family and then comeback. Essentialy this is probably another nothing vlog, but he tries to implement some things to make it more engaging. He tries to talk about different things on this episode. He spends time talking about the cameras in his office. After that he goes outside. On the way out he met two guys trying to fly a drone they made. That was interesting. He also shares how making vlogs is like adopting a puppet. It sounds fun at the beginning but after that it’s a lot of responsibility. He talks about how tough it has been to keep making the vlog. He tries to make the vlogs interesting but realizes that making them is the most important. So he focuses on getting them done. He then takes us to the end of his day. At the end he has a meeting. Just a few shots and then vlog ends.
