The tough month of running in July. For the first 15 days of July, I just ran 31km. I moved into my new house and also adjusting to the new job routine didn't help. I was behind my target and I had to really catch up. I knew I was behind but I was confident that I would catch up.

In the last 16 days of July, I did 69km. It was tough. It got hotter and hotter every single day but I somehow managed to keep up the runs going on, especially at night. I targeted the weekends for longer runs. I couldn’t do proper long runs due to the heat. I had to do two runs in a day on the weekends. That helped me bring up the numbers. Today was the weekend when I actually got in a proper long run. I did 9km first and then 5km during sunset.

June and July have been really tough but I still managed to hit my targets. The rest of the year should be easy. Looking forward to August.
