It’s September next week and it means that its time for the new Apple event. Every September Apple has its iPhone event.
It doesn't matter if you are a fan of Apple or not. You do get to hear about the event right after it finishes. It’s an event that brings both tech and non-tech people together. Everyone waits to hear about the new iPhone.
But one thing that has changed over the years about this event has been the rumors. The iPhone’s journey started back in 2007. 15 years ago you hardly had rumors about what the new iPhone would look like. But nowadays rumors start months before the event. If you follow the rumors, by the time the event happens you already know what the phone will be like.
For non-tech people this is fine. They probably aren’t keeping up with the rumors. But for the tech lovers, this kind of takes the excitement out of the event. I tend to avoid rumors but it’s harder these days. At least one of your favorite tech creators ends up talking about the rumors.
That’s how it is now. Anyways, I will be excited about an Apple iPhone event when they finally release a folding phone. Till then they are pretty boring.
