I don’t usually watch horror shows. I love thrillers but not horror. But when I heard about the first episode of ‘The Midnight Club’ having the most amount of jumpscares, I had to watch it. Well, as soon as I watched the first episode I was disappointed but also intrigued.
I was disappointed because the jumpscare articles were misleading. They weren’t actually proper jumpscares. But I was intrigued because I realized the show wasn’t horror, it was more of a thriller. That is why I kept on watching.
I finished it over the weekend. It was an interesting watch because of the things I got to learn about people with terminal illnesses. The show did have a good story to it but I was more interested in learning about the characters.
The show did a great job of portraying what people with terminal illnesses go through. Especially things that we don’t usually notice. Things that only run through their mind.
It was a learning experience for me. I think anybody who never thought about these things should give it a watch. We are all destined to die. But for those of us who know our time is up soon, it is definitely not easy. This show helped me learn things from their perspective.
