Man Utd draws Barcelona in UEL, how times change

It was the draw for the Uefa Europa League today. Not the most popular draw. The eyes are always on the Uefa Champions League. But I had to keep in touch since Manchester United is in the tournament.
The draw happened and something unusual happened. Man Utd drew Barcelona. This part wasn't unusual. The unusual part was it was the Europa league.
Both the clubs are supposed to be European giants. When I think of them in Europe I think of the two finals that United lost against Barcelona. The 2009 and the 2011 finals. Both defeats were hard to take. Both the clubs were in a far better state a decade ago. But a decade later both clubs are in the Europa league.
Barcelona at least has had the better decade. United has struggled a lot more. It will be an interesting tie. For United to be able to win the Europa, this season would be a big step in the right direction. I don’t think it means much to Barcelona. They have hardly played in the Europa and a loss wouldn’t matter much.
Hope this is the last time the clubs meet in the Europa.
