It’s going to be a crazy end to the year for Japan
This blog is based on no facts. This is just my prediction for the end of the year in Japan. Please don’t hold me to this. I have to write a blog today and this is what came to my mind.
For the past few weeks, I have been seeing on Twitter the news of how Japan is opening up to tourists. Every day I see a new tweet about how more tourists will be allowed to enter Japan. That’s excellent news. Japan has been slower than other countries and I am happy to hear this news. But on the other hand, I am also wondering how Japan will deal with the new influx of tourists in the country.
The COVID restrictions within the country have somewhat been relaxed. Even though the regulations might be strict within the country you can see things are more relaxed. Shops and restaurants are not as strict as they were in 2020 or 2021. While that is a good thing I am not sure how that attitude will help when more tourists are traveling around the country. I mean, don’t stop tourists from coming in but if you are a business I hope you are following proper regulations and don’t just take things easy.
Tourism is a big part of the Japanese economy. Japan has missed the tourists for the past 2 years and hopefully, this will change soon. And in my opinion, as soon as the borders open it’s going t be crazy in Japan. All the people who couldn’t enter Japan will definitely take this opportunity. If you are planning to come to Japan, it’s a great time but make sure to plan it well. All the popular places will be swarming with people and I think it will be hard to have a good trip unless you plan it well. As I said, it’s just a feeling I have. I might be wrong and things might be better than I expect.
