Casey Vlog 24! Let’s go.
It starts off with his usual random vlog shot. He talks about a parking ticket he got in Tel Aviv. A nice interesting short story to start the vlog. Then he goes straight into his intro.
After the time-lapses, we have a close-up shot. He talks about why he doesn’t hire an editor. He explains really well why editing is the key to storytelling through video.
He goes to the gym after this. A few shots that are well matched with the music. He then tells us he is driving back home. There are some vlog shots of the drive and their lunch. Nothing special. Keeps the story moving. The music is key here. It lets you know when the scenes change.
The rest of te vlog isn’t that exciting. It is a nice father son time. He tries to portray that. But in the Casey vlog era, this was an okay vlog. The music was great. It complemented the shots. But I think he didn’t try much with this vlog which is understandable. He was prioritizing the time he was having with his kid. On to the next one.
