Let’s do another Casey Vlog.
I remember watching this one a few times before. This was a very good one in terms of the story he shares.
The usual intro moved into the close-up shot. He talks about two things that shape our lives. Education and experiences. Some experiences we pursue by ourselves but others happen to us. He wants to share one such experience. But before that, he goes on his run. Short run segment since he was with a friend. He then moves to his studio for the story.
He talks about his experience on September eleventh. He shares very vivid details. I won’t go into it. Watch the vlog to hear his story. After the story, he shares why he told the story. He was going to the world trade center for some work. Giving the whole story some context. The thing I liked about the part from a video perspective was the number of times he switched angles. He could have just sat in one spot and shared the whole story. But he went the extra mile and set up multiple shots for one segment. That’s what separated him from the rest.
He goes to get fitted for a Vogue event. Some shots inside the building. Not much was happening. End of 38!
