Back with another Casey vlog. no. 25!!!
The vlog starts off with the usual random part of the day. This time he is on the train. Talks about leaving his gear behind while going to the toilet on the train. The same thing happened to me too. I was on the Shinkansen and had to leave my stuff to go and find my original seat. Just like him, my gear was fine too.
Then we have his usual timelapse intro. After that, he has the close-up shot. Shares his obsession with NY city. This time though he is in Connecticut. He goes for a run and shares why he likes running here better. The shots are interesting and keep you engaged. But I have to say they are difficult. he did more than 13 miles while going back and forth to take these shots. That’s dedication.
After the run, he shows some of his trophies and medals from his runs. Looks amazing. He goes back to the city. Takes shots of his journey. None of the shots are amazing shots. They are just quick shots from his journey. But the music carries it forward. It sets the pace. He finally reaches the grand central station and does a timelapse there.
Back to the topic of the vlog, the NYC Subways. He mixes up the train but finally reaches home. He has a nice date night with his wife. He doesn't record that part. It’s good he didn’t. But he mentions it in the text. The ending shot is really nice. watch it to know it.
