Casey Neistat Vlog 016

The next few weeks will be hectic for me. It will be really tough for me to continue my streak of blogging. I will try my best to not break the streak. I will use these Casey Vlogs as filler blogs. Instead of once a week I might do more just to fill in the days I am too busy.
Anyways, we are on to vlog 16!
This vlog also continues in his established format. He has his cold opening in the city, the timelapse intro, and then a close-up shot. In today’s close-up shot he talks about a small bike accident he had.
After that, he starts his day. He takes a shot in the shower. I don’t know how he makes it seem normal, but it does. Doesn’t feel weird that he is shooting a video in the shower.
He then goes out for his meeting on his bike. Takes some difficult shots. He shares about meetings he is going to have that day. He also includes his friend Finn Harries in the vlog. He has a meeting with him. After that, there’s a timelapse which usually means a passage of time in his vlogs.
And just as I said, the passage of time means his day has ended. He shows himself getting out of the office and talks about how busy his day was. Even then he made a vlog out of nothing. He did nothing today but he made that day into a vlog. That’s what I take from this vlog. Somedays I want to vlog, but I don’t do anything special. You actually don’t need to. You have to find the special in the ordinary. Documentation in a way is special. I might try to replicate his format.
