As the year ends you are always asked about your new year’s plans. Most of the time people expect something grand and special. I was also one of those people.
But I guess it comes with age. You realize that the New Year doesn’t always have to be grand and special. it can be small and simple with your special people in life. You don’t need to spend tons of money or go to popular places just to get that Instagram picture. You can stay home and spend some quality time with your family.
I don’t have any problem with grand plans. If you do have the bandwidth, definitely do it. But also keep in mind that something small and simple would do too. Don’t feel bad if it isn’t as grand as everybody else’s.
This year my plans are pretty simple. I will enjoy some quality time with my loved one and my cats. I will take things slow. I will reflect on the passing year and then plan for the new year.
