It’s been more than 2 weeks since I started taking care of Scar and Aria. I never had pets in my life, so it was a big learning experience.
The past two weeks have been all about bonding. In the beginning, neither I nor they were used to each other. It took time for all of us to understand the new dynamic. For them, it was also a new city and a new house.
But slowly things settled. They felt more comfortable with me and I felt comfortable with them. It wasn’t easy at the beginning. Two cats can be a lot of work when it’s your first time. But slowly I got used to having two other members in the house. In the beginning, when I used to watch TV they used to do their own thing. Running around the house and try to fight with each other. But now they cuddle up and sleep beside me on weekends.
